Fixed my third row rattle.

Seen lot's of posts here about rattles in the rear...somewhere around the second or third row. I had a very noticeable rattle coming from back there.... any time the rear wheels hit a bump....I would get a rattle like metal on metal or plastic on metal. I took a ride in the back and found it was coming from the plastic panel that surrounds the area where the third row seat belts fasten to the floor, on each side. I could push in and out on that area and replicate the plastic on metal sound...like that panel was resting directly on metal with no cushioning.

I could reach under the third row seat and slide my fingers up under that panel. I cut about a 12" square shop towel, folded it up, and slid it up between the plastic panel and what I assume is the metal floor or wheel well. Took care of it 100%.

Just a thought if you are still chasing down rattles in the back.

I haven’t had any rattle, but have seen multiple posts about rattling in that back. Awesome of you to diagnose where it’s coming from, and show the fix for it!
