Fault observations on jeep summit 2021

Bought the car a week ago and have experienced a problem with emergency brake system. While driving at 40 miile per hour, the car applied the brake on its own to a complete stop causing me and my family to panic. I will take the car to the dear for checking. Did anyone experience similar problem?

If you go into vehicle, then the settings tab, and select safety there should be an option to disable it.
