Mine has been abysmal, but after the latest software update and new Uconnect processor, it works better than it has. My whole UcannotConnect system was useless for months prior. I also rented a new Chrysler minivan for a couple of weeks back in Feb that had its share of issues, too.
For the moment, sometimes mine works as promised, other times it plays the game of 'Do I know you from somewhere?' Initially I had a hardware problem (a huge one), but what remains seems like beta-grade software-level problems. We can only hope they work it out.I have to imagine they will, as the issue is spread across seemingly everything Stellantis makes.
It is, from a tech perspective, a little challenging given all the phone-side software and hardware permutations, but plenty of companies (auto and otherwise) have figured it out a lot better than Stellantis has to date. IOW, it is not an insurmountable challenge, or too much to ask.
