Does anyone find a rear seat protector like this one?

Canvasback is well-liked. I bought a set, and they're great IMO. With my power folding third row, and the 'layered' design of the cargo floor (slides against the third row seatbacks) I don't think there's really any other choice. Rubber mats would be too heavy, or at a minimum create additional wear on the electric motors.

You can order custom stitching to match the interior, and an array of fabric styles, and add side protectors and other bits. They attach with adhesive velcro, which seemed suspect at first, but they're staying in place just fine. I would definitely buy them again.

I also have the Jeep OEM rear rubber cargo matt on top of it for the very rear. It's good for melting snow from ski boots and such.

Here's a few iPhone photos of the Canvasback setup in mine. I paid extra for white stitching to match the interior, but it's a little thicker thread, so I might use gray if I were to do it over, or just the stock black. Overall, though, there's nothing else I've seen that would work this well for the GCL

Love it. Can't wait to get mine. I went all black. I'm contemplating getting the side pieces too. Main goal is reducing dog damage.

I have the side pieces but it’s looking like I’m going to get a replacement vehicle, so I didn’t install them yet. I haul a lot of photo and video gear around, and camping/sk/boat/dog stuff too. I’m a little leery of the adhesive style mounts but so far, so good. It looks good, and there’s really nothing better either.

If the adhesive doesn’t hold, installing snaps in trouble spots is another option. Easy DIY.

It certainly seems like it. Fairly dense/stiff/slippery material, but I keep the small Jeep rubber mat behind the third row in mine, for ski boots and other wet stuff. If you're really hauling wet stuff, the Weathertech cargo liners (small for behind the third row, or large that covers the third row seats (when folded). Those have sides on them, so they hold a fair bit of water, and have no mounting holes in them usually.

I haven't order the canvasback, yet but intend to. I had them send me a sample of the material with some different color stitching add-ons so I can pick the better match for my GCL. When I got the sample, I decided to crudely test the water resistance of the product by sticking it under the faucet to see if it would leak through or get damp. While it was good at keeping water to the one side, there is one minor issue I found which is the material on the edges acts like a wick for liquids. I don't see this as a major issue since it seems like it will fairly good job for what produce is designed to do - but it's something worth keeping an eye on if you spill something and don't want it wicking the liquids underneath and into the seatbacks. It won't wick the liquid entirely right away, but it's enough that I would stop to clean it up as soon as I could, which most people probably would do anyway.
