couple of questions before buying

considering a summit and had a couple of questions after a test drive

1) Is it possible to have the fam cam as a "tile" or whatever on the main home screen of uconnect? If this isn't an option, then it seems like you wouldn't be able to really use the digital rear view mirror if you have a rear facing child seat and a headrest mounted mirror. Unless you didnt want to see anything else on the screen such as a map or the radio.

2) 360 camera - when trying to maneuver in a tight space where you to go forward and back wards is there a way to keep the 360 camera on the screen? When i was test driving i turned it on and it was great. But i put it in reverse and it switched to the rear view camera. Then i went back to drive to inch forward, but the cameras went away. Is there a way to keep the 360 on screen until you get over like 5 mph?

3) do the side mirrors auto fold after locking?

4) is there a setting to auto lock the car if you walk away with the key in your pocket?

5) would the middle bench seat have heated and ventilated seats? all three or just two outside?

thanks!

1.) I have tried and have not found a way to get a tile for Fam Cam, which stinks. I am a little confused on the other part of your question. Why couldn't you either flip the digital review off to look at mirror or quickly just select the fam cam app? Also, you can have the map/music show up in the instrument panel screen.
2.) My backup can shows the 360 and backup by default. Not sure if you can keep it on. You can select the 360 separately and have it stay on screen while going forward, but not sure if that gets screwed up if you are switching gears.
3.) Yes there is a setting for it. But it is not on by default.
4. Unsure, by I never looked for it.
5.) I wasnt even able to have them confirm that the cooled seat would work at all when you got the bench seat. I assume the middle seat would get no controls at all.

Thanks for the responses!

Regarding #1 I would want it to stay on all the time, not have to click through menus to see the infant in the back seat. So I'd have to leave it on and not use the uconnect for anything else. Or not use the digital rear view mirror. Kind of a bummer you can tile the screen half and half with one being fam cam all times.

Does jeep update their systems to feature enhancements like this? I have an explorer now and it's received zero updates.

1) Yes...swipe down on the screen and the options available to move to the top left of the screen appear. You may have to "drag one down" back to its main place in the screen to make room. I dragged my profile icon down and then dragged the Fam Cam up.
2) I don't believe you can do what youre asking.
3) yes, but you need to set it up. Tap VEHICLE on the bottom, then settings (upper right), then select the mirrors setting subscreen.
4) There is no auto lock, but pressing the "lines" on the handle locks the doors are you exit.
5) Middle seat has NEITHER vent or heat, just the outer seats.
