Configurator option changes

I just noticed that the JGC configurator is showing different options, or, I should say fewer options. For example, the V8 is no longer an option on the Overland, and silver is no longer a color option on the Summit. Anyone know why this is?

I just looked and the V8 is not available on the 4x2 Overland but is on the 4x4.

Ah, maybe I forgot to check the 4x4 option. Still, I’m Disappointed about the lack of color choices on the Summit. I had my heart set on Silver Zynth.

Silver Zenith was listed as a current color. I’m waiting for the Midnight Sky to come out.

Silver shows up as an option on the Overland, but no longer on the Summit. Even Baltic Gray is gone from the Summit, and that was my 2nd choice. White is gone too... that was my 3rd choice. Sheeez... it's pretty much black or something really close to black.

Amazing, I didn’t see that. I’d check with the dealer. I can’t understand why you could get it on one model and not another. This is getting ridiculous, it’s like ordering a Model T…you can order in in any color as long as it’s back 😆

Agreed! Also, all the colors are still available on the Summit L, just not the 2-row Summit.

Oddly, White is still an option on the Summit 4xe, just not the petrol version.

I noticed that also so I contacted the dealer in reference to the Summit 4x4 that I ordered. He checked with someone at the factory and all is well. White is the default Summit 4x4 color as it was previously. The Jeep site is in error. It seems to me that children are in charge of the site! This intro to the WL74 has been less than professional.

Don't trust the online builder. It is pretty terrible in comparison to some others (in my opinion) and the best way to find out what is available is to talk to some at the dealership who handles orders. They can see what can and cannot be ordered.

I didn't inquire about any other colors. Best bet is to take the Jeep site as a suggestion and go directly to the dealer. They have the official info.

This. I ordered this week and the dealer couldn't even put in an order for Midnight Sky.

It’s available on Overland, Trailhawk, Summit, and Summit Reserve.

My codeguide dated 02/24 says the Hemi is not available on any 4x2, not available at all on Laredo or Limited, late availability on TrailHawk (which is hard to order at all) and available on Overland and Summit in 4x4 only. So if you want a V8, order an Overland or Summit and prepare to pay A LOT for it. I specked out an Overland 4x4 with a V8 and the 10.1 display, no advanced protech group and the factory cost was $58044, not MSRP. Corporate lease pays a percentage on factory. With all the fancy electronics the factory cost is $61995. I would not buy this, it is just too much.
