I was wondering if anyone was getting this on their display when shutting their jeep off. i am not sure what the issue with the seat is as everything seems ok with the rear seats
It is a reminder to not leave your kids or things in the back seat. IIRC, this warning might trigger if you open the back doors within a few minutes of starting the Jeep.
While maybe not necessary, this was a reaction by the auto manufactures to some parents leaving their kids unknowingly in the back of a hot car....and them dying because of it.
REAR SEAT REMINDER ALERT (RSRA)
RSRA will consider the presence of an object in the
rear seat when a rear entry/exit door is opened at
the beginning of each key cycle. To activate, the
rear door must be open for more than one second
and the vehicle must be placed in the ON/RUN
position within 10 minutes. When the potential
presence of an object is determined and/or
otherwise inferred, a message will appear in the
instrument cluster display reminding driver to
check the rear seat(s) immediately after key off
accompanied by an alert upon exiting the vehicle.

yuup....better to be safe than sorry. alert causes no harm and makes you aware of your surroundings. Take it one step further lets say you don't have kids but put something else vaulable in the back seat or 3rd row or had groceries like mlik or other parishables etc...
I get the alert all the time even if I don't have anything on the seats. I like it and don't mind getting it. If it saves a child's life then I am all for it.
It is not sensing an object on the seat. It is suggesting you check the rear seat because one of the rear doors had been opened previously. This was in response to those irresponsible parents who leave their children in the rear seat.
