Been reviewing some video footage of my dash and noticed something strange...
I have a hemi that does not have the button for engine start stop and does not have stop start on the build sheet and window sticker. But I get a "stop start not available" message shown at random times (I assume at a stop light/sign)
Also I have a "check rear seat" message displayed at every engine off event, despite my rear seat being 100% empty with nothing on them/covering them. The manual states that there is an indicator lamp in the upper right corner of the EVIC to inform when the seats are empty, yet mine never illuminates and I see this check rear seat message every time i shut the engine off.
Can anyone with a V8 option/no start stop option confirm they see these messages? Also can anyone confirm they see the check rear seat message with empty seats?
