Center radio display control is dying

Well my center radio display control is dying like many of you I read about. I took my GCL to my dealer and they couldn't even do a software load. I am not going to bash my dealers service department because they have to follow the Jeep engineers troubleshooting procedures before they can order any parts. This whole COVID mess has really screwed up the supply chain and employees. They told me how they can't get qualified service technicians anymore. They have a new display on order but have no idea when it will come in. They have been real good about providing us with a loaner car and keeping my GCL inside to be safe for theft and vandalism which has gotten real bad in our lawless state. My question to you that have had your display replaced is it a improved display with a fix for the reasons they are failing. Good question for Jeep Cares to answer. Thanks
