Overland and above should have washer jets. Limited and below do not.Does anybody know what these "bumps" are? They are located near both cameras on the tailgate... I was hoping they were some kind of jet for washing, but apparently not...
I know I have a washer on my front camera, but I've never seen any water come out the back...Overland and above should have washer jets. Limited and below do not.
It’s kinda pathetic at the price point of these vehicles they aren’t standard. My overland doesn't has the rear camera washer as standard. It was part of optional package.
It's standard, that comment is just wrong. It’s kinda pathetic at the price point of these vehicles they aren’t standard.
What is exactly wrong and what is standard? It's standard, that comment is just wrong.
I don’t see a washer. What I was saying is all trim levels at the price point they sell at should have a washer on the camera. It’s sad what they don’t include. I’ve been a ford guy lost my life and I’ve watched them pull the same crap. Move the things ppl want to the upper levels and not even make it optional on the lower models. It’s like cloth vs leather. Not everyone wants leather. But to get the other creature comforts these manufacturers are making them only available on the trim levels with leather. They want everything as a package. Years ago a person could special order a car with the options they wanted. Now you get what they offer. Here is a picture of the cam on my overland.
I completely agree with this, it sucks that you can't just get a list of all the options on whatever trim you want and order them. In Jeep's case it worked backwards for me, I would have gotten the off road package, but it was only available on the Overland...I don’t see a washer. I have a 22 Limited and have the washers. It came with the Lux tech 2 package that I ordered.Overland and above should have washer jets. Limited and below do not.

Camera washers are generally kind of stupid, except that I'm hoping now that I know how to activate it, it will allow me to clear off the lens when it's raining. With the 360 camera, I've really gotten completely used to using the rear / surround camera to back into parking spaces exclusively now - but whenever it rains the rear camera is completely obscured by water and is useless. I don't know whether spraying it off will clear the water buildup enough to see, but I am eager to try...Cannot agree more.
I hate when the manufacturers force you to get several features with certain packages that you don't want all of them.
Also at this price point, 360 cameras should be standard and to me it is more important than the camera washers.
They should activate with the wipers. Rear wiper washer washes the rear camera. Front is the same way.Camera washers are generally kind of stupid, except that I'm hoping now that I know how to activate it, it will allow me to clear off the lens when it's raining. The front camera washer is really silly, at least in as much as it activates automatically and randomly when you wash your windshieldss... You're driving down the freeway and you wash your windows and randomly a jet of water shoots out over your hood, so stupid. They have the manual wash button on the camera view itself, that should be enough.
