Any thoughts on putting a slightly larger size, such as a BFG KO2 275 55 R20? (I put those on my WK2 and I loved them even more than the Michelin Defenders, which I also had on that rig at one time. Thought the larger size filled out the wheel well and had no rubbing issues.

I didn't want to do a larger tire, I wanted to stay within OEM specs - I want the ride, tire weight, and clearance as close to original as possible; didn't want to deal with any rubbing or cutting. I think the big wheel fills out the wheel well just right - and looks better than the 18" wheels.

TireRack has always been my go to site for researching tires. I am considering the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3, the Michelin Defender LTX M/S also looks like a fine choice. For the last few years I have found the car dealers to be very competitive on tire prices, often less expensive than TireRack with promotions such as buy 3 get 1 for $1.

After you have put a few miles on the Michelin's let us know how the ride, handling, noise compares to the Bridgestone's.

I've already noticed a quieter ride, which should increase as I break them in. I really got them for the wet/snow performance, and for my occasional beach runs. I'll update after about 500 miles.
