I got all the skids and everything seems to be correct except I can't figure out number 1 in the illustration. I thought it would end up being a tranny skid since it has two cut outs that look like they would be for a drain plug but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere. Any thoughts on where this would install?Ordered the remaining skids from the off-road group (except #2) so we’ll see how it goes in a couple weeks.
Did you install the skid plates ? I will order some of these. Also, for anyone adding these after the fact, the heat shielding will have to be modified/cut for the transfer case skid to fit (at least on the V8). The heat shield is also in the way of the battery tub and fuse box but I'm pretty sure I can slip the skids underneath after loosening them.
I did install all the factory skid plates and they are actually quite beefy. They look and feel like they are 3/16” but I didn’t measure.Did you install the skid plates ? I will order some of these. Which part do you recommend?

Kinda looks that way. I like the mopar skid but am a bit disappointed it didn’t come with a metal cover for the drain plug. It has a giant cut out and two holes like there should be one. Probably just have to make my own I guess.Does this block where the oil filter would come off?
Hey, I am from the Bay too! I live right next to Shaffer's Offroad & Performance in Union City and I talked to them earlier this year and they said they can do the installation. Also Beep's in Hayward said they can do the installation too. Right now I am just waiting for a better aftermarket ones to pull the trigger.I also want to put the skid plates to my GC L summit but cannot do at home. I live in Bay Area California. Does anyone know if dealers can fit it for me or any other Auto Shop in here?
