Anyone add skid plates to their L yet? Did you get the mopar ones? Same as prior gen or can you get the ones for the non-existent off road package L?

I am also looking to find this out. I read somewhere that the Mopar skids aren't available right now but I haven't talked with a dealer to verify this. From what I can tell you cannot run WK2 skids which isn't surprising considering it's a new unibody platform. Someone else might be able to chime in.

They must have made a few, because I saw some youtube videos of GCL's with the 18" wheels and the eLSD, but they were journalist tests, not customer cars.

At this point I'm kind of just hoping someone makes a set of aluminum skids that weigh less and perhaps provide even better coverage.

I went to my local off road build shop yesterday asking for this (and rock slides, recovery points) and from a quick look they said there isn't any available. They said they will look at it again, in case if they get back I will post here.

I don’t understand why they only made enough off road kits to show reporters and then not sell them. All the reviews were for the one configuration you can’t buy. What bullshit.

I think they're having a lot of supplier problems. Same reason you can't buy the Jeep brand rubber floor mats. They made some, and then the system went from December, to January, to February availability, then it just shoed 'in development', and now some are saying they're being told 'March'. Issues with trailer hitches too. You'd think floor mats and skid plates and trailer hitches would be pretty rudimentary things to sort out manufacturing issues with, but... Not for Stellantis, apparently.
