Anyone De-badging their WL ?

Curious if anyone has debadged their WL75 or 74?
Particularly the driver/passenger door?
I recognize the Grand Cherokee along the door has been a classic look for years, while I will keep the "Jeep" front and rear (perhaps black them out) I plan on removing the rear and door badging for a cleaner look.

Post your pics here...

I think removing the grand cherokee on the door is a bad look, would make it look cheaper IMO. there is a guy that did it on a black summit reserve on here. Not really my taste. I may drop the flags. They don't flow as well as the lettering. I am considering plastidip for all the emblems and the rear bumper chrome strip

I only left Jeep and 4x4 on the back. Removed LIMITED, L and Dealer Sticker. Looks so much better now.

I removed everything except for the JEEP badge on the hatch. Looks great. Need to wash it before I can take pics.

Some of us prefer the clean lines of the body. Some of us also remove any dealership badging and/or license plate frames. Some prefer blacked out trim, some prefer chrome. Personal choice.

First thing I do is to remove the dealer decal and license plate frame.

Oh yea I remove the dealer badging and license plate frame too

One of my more famous quotes:

-"There are 2 types of people in the world. Those who remove the dealer name off of their license plates…and all the rest." - me

I had the window trim wrapped with 3M gloss black vinyl.... I'm keeping some chrome just don't know how much until I see it. There is still the chrome on the very bottom of the mirror... not sure what to do with it yet... might be keeping it.
Were you able to acquire the black factory trim around the windows and the mirrors, or did you wrap it?

I ask because I no one else seems to have found part numbers for the mirror trim blackout.

I removed all of the badges except the hatch. I blacked that one out. I also added a stripe over everything except the roof. Haven't felt like taking the hatch trim off and yanking on the headliner to get the antennae off just yet.

Maybe I missed it, but how are you guys taking these off? Are they just glued on? I thought they'd be screwed in or something that would leave a hole or mark on the exterior.

Typically double sided tape… A little fishing line and wd-40 does the job… I believe some bigger emblems might have holes in sheet metal tho
