Altitude Grill Part Number

We have a 2021 GCL Limited, and we pretty much like everything about it. The one thing I don't care for it the chrome pieces on the exterior so I was wondering if anyone knows the part number for blacked out grill pieces for the Altitude? Thanks!

^^^ I have confirmed (that most) of these part numbers are correct.

I used this list myself to order the gloss black trim pieces, although most are unavailable at this time. I managed to snag the grill circles and the under grill pieces. I also ordered the black badges which I'll add below...

68524487AA Lift-Gate JEEP nameplate (the big guy)
68524488AA Grand Cherokee Nameplate, Right (includes flag)
68524489AA Grand Cherokee Nameplate, Left (includes flag)
68524529AA Lift-Gate Nameplate "L"
68524490AA Lift-Gate Nameplate "4x4"

Still haven’t managed to find the lower bumper pieces but I swapped out the grill rings and surround. Going in next week to have the remaining chrome and window trim wrapped to match and have the black badges installed. Tints too…View attachment 1751
looks awesome, should be able to wrap the lower bumper piece easy! How did you remove the grill chrome items?

I will try and grab some photos of the original rings so you can see where the tabs are, but the rings are just held in by 4 tabs each. All I did was get a plastic tool I used to use when repairing phone displays and push each tab in while pulling the ring out.

The grill surround however is way more complicated and I’d recommend removing the bumper cover completely. I didn’t and destroyed the original parts in the process of removal. I can get pictures of those as well but they are also held in with tabs, however some of them are more secure than others and are very difficult to get to. You’ll need to remove the outer pieces before the center piece.

I managed to find the left and right lower front fascia pieces. It's worth noting that the "DX8" in the part numbers signifies the gloss black color. The center piece "6SD57TZZAA" is actually not painted, apparently the "TZZ" signifies no color and it's actually shipped primed and ready for paint. I spent some time looking and it doesn't appear like that piece actually comes in gloss black. There are three part numbers in total, TZZ primed, the chrome, and the blasted chrome.

Just finished the front end today. Bought the grill rings, surround pieces, and the two outer pieces of the lower section. The center piece for the bottom section only comes in either satin, chrome, or unpainted. I picked up a 75’ roll of 3M 2080 and wrapped the center. It’s a perfect match to the factory black paint.

A heads up, the roof rail chrome is the easiest part to wrap/paint. The plastic surround that runs the length of the roof pops off with minimal effort, and the chrome insert is held in by two screws.

I also wrapped the chrome piece in the rear bumper. Be forewarned; the clips used to fasten trim on this entire car must have been engineered by NASA because there are way too many and they’re a nightmare to get to.

I’ll be having a go at the window trim this week and I’ll post the results. All that’s left are the mirrors and swapping the badges which I’ve had laying around for a while.

Are you replacing the window trim with the black trim, or wrapping it? Also: Did you order the black mirror trim parts too? I haven't seen anyone post part numbers for those.

If you do this, a LOT of people down the road would surely appreciate seeing a video of it. Good luck, looking forward to seeing the results!

Those parts all seem to be back ordered so in the interim I plan to wrap the window trim myself. When I’m able to order them I’ll for sure document the process.

Please note when ordering the grill rings, it includes seven rings. The price was so low. I ordered the part number 7 times ( assumed it was per ring) and now have six extra kits in my garage, lol! Does anyone need the black rings? I will do $45 shipped to make it worth my time.

Thank you all that have contributed to this! Question, the grille rings, do you have to buy each one separate or does it come with all 7 rings? Does anyone have the instructions on how to remove the grille portions or even the bumper? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I was able to change the rings and the side trims below the grill without much issue, but the center piece has been very difficult. I kept the right and left trim pieces off while trying to get the center piece off, but still no luck. Do you have any advice? I know you suggested removing the bumper, which I don't mind doing, but I have not seen any videos showing the process. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
