Advice on trailer tow prep package B please!

I bought my JGCL new in Nov of 21 and I made sure to get the tow package for "down the road" use and to have at least one trail recovery point, since I have the Limited. It appears on my invoice, and I have had a recall for the load leveling system on the lights. However when I finally went to pull the back panel off the other day to see about installing a bike rack, I just have a plan bumper behind the plate. I know the actual ball and harness are seperate, but I thought I would have the opening for a hitch from the factory. Am I missing something here or was this something that should have been done at the dealer that was never installed? Any advice is appreciated!

Factory Tow Package includes class IV hitch receiver w/4 & 7 pin wiring harness 👇

jake22, That's a poor explanation, many here don't appreciate the attitude you bring in your responses.

As for the OP, the prep enables towing after the hitch and wiring are purchased and installed.

I have a 2021 limited with the Trailer tow prep group. It only includes the following : Trailer hitch zoom, Headlamp leveling system, Rear load leveling, and full size spare. It does not include the receiver, or plug access. You will have to get a receiver and plug wiring installed, and possibly have it flashed.

There is a difference between the towing package and the towing prep package. Due to "supply chain issues' , Jeep changed between the availability of the two. The towing prep package does not include the receiver....

If you look at some of my past post Jeep did the same thing to me and many others. The receiver and wiring harness are not included and very expensive. I believe around 600 dollars for Harness 300 for the receiver not including installation.
