I’ve had to occur a few times. I noticed it trends to happen when I turn the shift dial quickly. Always clears the next time I start up the GCL. Just another bug that needs to be squished.View attachment 2319Hi Everyone,
Has anyone encountered this issue with their L? I’ve had my L since October and recently issues seem to be cropping up more so in the past month.
Any insights are appreciated!
It did go away on the next full power cycle. Definitely sent my blood pressure up lol.I’ve had to occur a few times. I noticed it trends to happen when I turn the shift dial quickly. Always clears the next time I start up the GCL. Just another bug that needs to be squished.
You may be right. There was freezing rain in the Chicagoland area last night.Something I noticed in both posted photos is that the ambient temperature outside is below freezing. I wonder if there is any ice from condensation or slush buildup covering one or more sensors.
I had no idea for months this little black rectangle is a sensor. Honestly with all the snow I stop wiping it off cause it would just build back up. Should fix you issuesYou may be right. There was freezing rain in the Chicagoland area last night.
I was under the impression that the lane assist sensor is a camera behind your rearview mirror, and the flat sensor on your bumper is for adaptive cruise control (radar?) I had my window replaced in my '19 jeep and they had to recalibrate the lane keeping sensors, which they did poorlyI had no idea for months this little black rectangle is a sensor. Jeep changed it to this from the black glass ball that used to be on the lower part of grill on front bumper.I had no idea for months this little black rectangle is a sensor. Honestly with all the snow I stop wiping it off cause it would just build back up. Should fix you issues
I think it went from optical to radar.Jeep changed it to this from the black glass ball that used to be on the lower part of grill on front bumper.
PS, did you hit the button engaging the system on the center console? When I had this issue last night, turning the engine off and on cleared it, but I still had to hit the button to get it working again. Sorry I don't remember if the amber warning light was still there, but the Red light was on the actual button.View attachment 2336Happened to me this morning. Can’t get rid of it. Turned off car restarted multiple times and still didn’t fix it. I hate this Jeep.
The warning light is off now thank God. I pressed the button to see if that would’ve fixed it but it would just blink. When the warning light turned off a few hours later, I didn’t have to press the center console button to get it working.PS, did you hit the button engaging the system on the center console? Also, while the system was bugging out, the red light on the button was blinking intermittently...
