Active Driving Assist seems to be available in Canada, (Hands-free active driving assist system - $3,495CAD), and was claimed to be available in the US for 2024. But it's not listed in any of the available options on the US build site. In the comments of the Mopar youtube channel it still claims it's available in 2024:

Hi Ryan, This feature is available in our 2024 models. Please send us a private message via Facebook or Instagram with any additional questions. ^BC

Does anyone know if or when it will be available in the US? Then can it be retrofitted for 2024 models that didn't offer it?

It appears that this is, in fact, available now and on the jeep.com web sight.

HANDS-FREE ACTIVE DRIVING ASSIST SYS (Code SJH)

However in my opinion it is a waste of your money and another money grab from Stellantis. They are following along with all the other car companies in charging a subscription for certain options on your vehicle to work. This was started by Tesla. In this case it only works on certain roads and then ONLY if you subscribe to "Jeep Conect" which you get free for only 3 months. Nav service only $9.99/month and Assistance service only $14.99/month. If you do not subscribe SJH stops working. There are features on my 2023 Overland which no longer work because I refuse to subscribe. Real time traffic and gas prices on the nav map no longer work for me and the feature to remote start, lock/unlock, vehicle location and valet modes also no longer work from my phone. This makes the Jeep Connect app mostly worthless. As time moves on we will see more and more of this coming as Stellantis tries to milk more money from subscription services. Sorry, your window defrosters no longer work because you did not pay the subscription fee? :-( I have the base driver assist which requires you to always have hands on the wheel, I never use it nor have I ever used the parking assist as I can already park a car.
