Activating 3 mo. WiFi trial

I have a 2021 L with 12K miles on it. I will be traveling soon and wish to activate the trial. Can I still do this even though the purchase was in Sept./2021?
If I am able to use the WiFi, is the setup easy - what is the process?

I'm pretty sure you can activate it anytime, I believe there are instructions right on the screen when you look at it, or through your Jeep my connect web page, that's where I signed up.

Just so you know, I have the subscription, and I plan on keeping it, but it can only be used while the car is On. I would love it if you could activate it as a hotspot so that I could use it while camping etc. I do use it when tailgating, but I have to keep turning it back on every 30 mins.
