2022 Overland door handle lights?

I just picked up my 2022 Overland last night. I have passive entry set up in uconnect. I was under the impression that keyless enter n go illuminated the door handles on vehicle approach. Mine is not doing this. Does the Overland have this feature?

Exterior door handle pocket lights illuminate when the unlock button on the key fob is pushed as the operator is approaching the vehicle.

IIRC, there is a setting for this in the UConnect to enable/disable the lights on approach.

Thanks! I have it enabled, but I didn't try Jake's approach yet. I didn't realize I needed to hit the unlock button on the remote. I'll try it tonight and report back. So far everything else seems to be working as expected. 😁

you don't need to hit unlock on the fob. My overland lights up automatically as i approach it at night. sometimes it doesnt do it until i am very close but it does do it without any input needed from me.

Good to know. All of the lights come on except the door handles as I approach. I'll check it out tonight.

I "fixed" it. It wasn't broken. I was pushing buttons and thought I had turned off the button in the overhead console that turns off the door lights when you press it. Apparently I didn't turn it off. 😅
