I emailed Mcintosh back in March. I asked if I could purchase the upgrades from them( currently have the Alpine system). They said that they just designed it. They stated that this would have to be bought through FCA. I have yet to find OE parts available to build the upgrade myself.

You can purchase a Taser or similar product (diablo, etc) that plugs in to your OBDII port, and you can tell the computer what you have on it. Mine are within a quarter inch OD, so mine is still correct (GPS Verified)
