After dealer updated my uConnect system the paddle shifting no longer works

If you don't like the feature, that's fine, I don't care. But you acting real weird right about now pretending like everyone needs to be like you. If you like it, everyone must. If you dislike it, everyone must. Only your input matters. It's cool if you don't need it or if you don't understand...

    Extended Warranty - Options available

Are you suggesting I get a new vehicle before the warranty expires? I was thinking about it. But I ultimately decided I should just make this my keeper vehicle for as long as I can. And if I’m going to keep it, I certainly need an extended warranty on it. There was another post on here with...

    Extended Warranty

Did you end up getting the warranty? If so, through who? I recently called Mopar and their quote was $500-$600 more than the link you provided. Exact same coverage.

    Extended Warranty - Options available

I just got off the phone with the MOPAR extended warranty department. Here's what they offered on our 2021 GCL Overland with about 21,000 miles on it now. 8 year coverage. However, the coverage starts on the day I purchased the vehicle. So it's really only 5 year coverage after the original...

After dealer updated my uConnect system the paddle shifting no longer works

Unless you don’t know how to use it properly, which I’m sure a good chunk of people don’t, then yeah, you’ll come up with zero reasons. Like I and the other commenter mentioned, there are scenarios where it just works better than automatic. The Jeep likes to fumble around gear changing way...

After dealer updated my uConnect system the paddle shifting no longer works

Why do you say it’s terrible? I was using the paddles constantly on certain roads. They’re far more responsive when you’re on hilly, windy roads.

After dealer updated my uConnect system the paddle shifting no longer works

I had the vehicle in for an oil change, a third row seat issue, and a couple of recalls. On the way home I notice the uConnect system was different. I figure that update is what caused this current issue. When I try to use the paddles a message comes up saying "Paddle shifting disabled". I went...

    Paddle shifters

I just had some work done on my 2021. I noticed the Uconnect system was updated (it now has that annoying Amazon Alexa button displayed at all times). On the drive home I tried using the paddles like I normally do and it gave me this same error saying they are disabled. Once I got home I went...

Does anyone know how long the jeep connect app is free.

My app stopped working 6 months later. The only thing I used it for was to remote start the vehicle when my keys wouldn’t reach. I’m certainly not paying $15/mo for that. It should be free for a $70k vehicle.

Are there any step by step guides on how to remove interior pieces like door panels, headliner, dash, etc.?

I’m going to be installing a GMRS mobile radio unit and antenna on my 2021 Overland. I’m wondering if Jeep provides some kind of guide on how to remove certain parts of the vehicle. I’ve tried searching Google and YouTube but these vehicles are too new that there isn’t much content out there.

Volume levels won’t save under audio settings. They reset every time the Jeep is started again. Navigation and VR volumes are way too loud.

Every time I use my navigation or my Google Assistant the spoken audio and the beeps are super loud. I can adjust these so long as I do it at the exact moment while they are being used. Then the audio volume is fine at that point. However, the next time I get in the Jeep and start it up the...

    Sport mode

I used it constantly in my 2015 Cherokee because that transmission totally sucked and this mostly fixed it. I've used it some in the GLC but I clearly see that this vehicle is much better in auto than the 2015 was, so I don't really need to use it too much. For me, it works best on winding...

    Auto Fold Side Mirros

Kick straight in and straight back, don't move your leg super fast but it also doesn't need to be slow. No swinging left or right. Works every time for me.

    Anyone De-badging their WL ?

Maybe I missed it, but how are you guys taking these off? Are they just glued on? I thought they'd be screwed in or something that would leave a hole or mark on the exterior.

    Permanently Disabling Auto Stop/Start?

Yes, but if you turn it off it will come back on the next time you start the vehicle. There's no permanent way to always keep it off.

Active Steering drives like a drunken sailor sometimes, very 'straight and narrow' other times?

I notice the exact same thing. Most of the time it works pretty well. But sometimes it bounces back and forth. I tell myself that if a cop noticed it I would almost certainly be pulled over because they would think that I'm drunk.

    Permanently Disabling Auto Stop/Start?

I don't think you can. I hate the feature and wish I could permanently disable it as well. Lane assist, parking sensors, and other stuff can all be disabled permanently I figure Jeep doesn't allow start/stop to be disabled permanently because the feature, when used normally, probably allows...

    Paddle Shifters

From page 129 in the manual, "The shift paddles (if equipped) may be disabled (or re-enabled, as desired) using the Uconnect Personal Settings." I think I once spotted it in uconnect but I'm not sure where. I'll try looking again tomorrow.
