I looked at the housing of the back lights and on the side there is no light, it's just a red reflector. That might be what they're talking about needing to be repaired/replaced.
I have a '21 Overland and can say with a 100% confidence that the front collision is working as planned. I've had 2 different instance where it has either alerted me to brake or it braked on its own. I have my setting set at "far", to ensure that it provides enough reaction time. The back...
There's another thread on this topic. I've been facing the same issue with my GCL 2021 Overland. Seems to only happen when the car is taken out for the first time during the day and goes away after about a half hour of driving. I personally think it's a transmission issue when "cold", but...
So was finally able to get the car looked at by a technician. Their exact words "We weren't able to replicate the issue....without evidence that you had smoke in the cabin and or burning smell, there's nothing we can do." What a joke! So now I risk driving the car and possibly inhaling...
I highly doubt that it's a plastic bag under the car. It's been going on since i purchased the car back in September. Took it for the first oil change in January and they didn't mention anything about a plastic back being under the car. I never brought the smell up to them as i also thought i...
Thank you @eleceng1979 , great advice. Wish when I called the service department yesterday that they would have given me similar advice. They acted as if this was normal and nothing to worry about.
Has anyone come across where you were parked and all the sudden you smell a burning oil/rubber smell and see smoke coming through the vents into the cabin? Came across this yesterday for about a minute and then it all the sudden stopped. Going to make a service appointment today and will keep...
having a similar issue, but seems more noticeable at higher speeds (55 MPH or up). Was told by service rep that they couldn't duplicate. Doesn't happen all the time, but happens mostly when i first take the car out in the morning and goes away the more you drive.
Sounds like we're all experiencing the same thing. If any of you end up taking it for service, please let us know what they state as the issue here. Thanks
The car sits in a heated garage....been seeing this issue anywhere between 40 degrees and below. Started watching the transmission temp and thinking that could be the issue, but can't say with 100% certainty. Never had this issue with any other car before, but this is my first Jeep and not...
Is anyone getting vibration on their Jeep Grand Cherokee L when they first start the car in the morning in cold temps & drive at highway speeds 45-65? Been having this issue for about 2 months. Took it for service, but they're saying nothing is wrong as they couldn't replicate. My guess is...
I'm feeling a similar vibration when I first start driving on the highway...seems to happen most often when car just started up and cold. I also took it to the dealer for service and they had the same response for me. "can duplicate, so doesn't seem to be an issue".
