Is the 2021 L filter different than the 2023 L filter…or is it a case that when they look up 2021, it finds the old Grand Cherokee non-L and recommends it incorrectly?
Old Chrysler used to be better at it. I’ve had other first year Dodge and Jeep vehicles without these problems. The standards have lowered over years, I suppose.
Update received for my '21 as well. I haven't seen a comprehensive list of changes yet, but it fixes my pet peeves:
- Offers to handoff a phone call back to the phone when leaving the vehicle (would previously keep the head unit powered and not release the call on iPhone)
- Activating massaging...
If you really believe that your vehicle is that much of a danger to a future owner, you should put the VIN here in the forum and check that Google picks it up. It might allow a future used car buyer to stumble across it and realize the mistake they're making.
Yeah, I ended up taking it off Auto so it would stop being so loud.
I found stopping the rear climate completely also helped the system be quieter when you only have front passengers.
