for the mirrors, turn the mirror knob 180* or so. On the tailgate, make sure the feature is turned on in uconnect settings and supposedly you have to kick in and out relatively fast underneath the bumper.

I'm at like 15 or so city driving and 19-21 highway around 77 mph. I have the v6 Mine is the summit reserve so I'm sure the extra weight or the 275 tires don't help.
