There are several other microphones in the car besides the third row microphone. The noise has been unbearable in my SR. So far I haven't noticed any additional road noise due to covering the third row microphone. I'll see how an extended interstate trip goes to see if this has noticeably...

I can confirm this fix works. I only covered the microphone over the third row. I used felt tape. Here is a picture. Thank you JTaylor.

Are you referring to the one that is directly above and would be in between the heads of the 3rd row passengers? Let me know and I'll try it out also. Thanks.

If no rear seat passenger turn off the rear seat fan and see if that helps as a test.
