I would tell that dealership to fuck off. You're paying what you agreed to and that's it.Dealership was like "oh yea I got the updated order sheet for you, it's really close to the one you signed" and Im like.. ok, 5k is "close"?
Dealer invoice mirrors the Monroney 👈Dealer was like "oh yea I got the updated order sheet for you".
I agree, but I feel like it's not their fault. They have to charge me for what is MSRP, and I don't think they can modify it. I will try to push them to give me an extra discount, but still if it's MSRP so I just got fucked by Jeep not the dealership, they are just using their system to order vehicles. Sad, but what you gonna do.I would tell that dealership to fuck off. You're paying what you agreed to and that's it.
You said it much better than me. I completely agree.Obviously, I can’t tell you exactly what happened in your case, but I can tell you what should have happened.
When you signed that paper, your dealer almost certainly entered into a contract with you, even if the document isn’t identified as such. That should lock in the terms of the deal between you and the dealer, to whatever degree they exist on that paper. (I should note that I’m not a lawyer, that contract law varies from state to state, and that you may wish to consult an attorney.)
Within a business day or two, your dealer should have placed your order into the system, and that should have locked in the terms of the deal between your dealer and Stellantis. If Stellantis raised prices after receiving that order, it shouldn’t affect that order, and the price the dealer is invoiced for it should not change. So it shouldn’t cost your dealer anything more to honor your agreement.
Now, if the price increase occurred in between you signing the agreement and the dealer placing the order, that could be a problem. Technically, your agreement should still be valid, but a responsible dealer would probably not place the order without consulting (and perhaps renegotiating) with you first. If they placed it anyway, with the expectation that they’d honor the old price, that’s obviously on them. But If they placed it with the expectation of later charging you more than you had agreed to pay, that would be ethically and legally problematic for them.
It‘s also possible that your dealer didn’t do all the things they should have done; if so, that’s on them, not you.
The bottom line is that you have a deal, and if your dealer hasn’t done anything questionable, it shouldn’t cost them anything more to honor it.
Every version of Uconnect is slow to load the Off Road page. Same with the performance page on the vehicles that have that.Nice new review. Couple of problems that I noticed. Number one, the reviewer mentioned some buzzing creaking of the vehicle. I hope this doesn't mean poor build. Number two, he commented on the Uonnect 5.0 being very slow to load the off-road pages as well as starting the front facing camera. Other than that, the car performed excellent in the off-road testing.
Cant wait to take it offroad, once it comes Im taking it right away for 2k roadtrip 💓💓Nice new review. Couple of problems that I noticed. Still waiting for the sticker 🤮Got the Monroney yet...what'$ the verdict? 🤑
Deal breaker 👈Locking diff's an important feature in off-road driving.
I still think that I will never take my GC to anything extreme beyond it limits. So it will easily take me wherever and whenever I want even if there is no elsd (in my opinion tires are most important). The only thing Im worried about is reliability/durability 👍I concur that there is concern around the rear differential locker. I'm not sure why they have an icon with the open lock. It would make sense that at some point that icon would turn to a closed lock, but when? How can the buyer be assured that the locker is working? I guess one reassuring fact is that the vehicle seem to handle the off-road challenges with ease. That being said, it doesn't look like the course was extremely challenging. I do have less concern considering all of the videos have shown such good performance on rock.
Are you calling it extreme? 😒😒
