When Trail Hawk?

Hi there,

Im trying really hard to buy new car, Im interested in Trail Hawk trim, do anybody know when its gonna be available, more or less? I can't even factory-order it anywhere.

All I see for now is Limited and Summit.

This is only a guess. The AM2 package (Off Road Group) is listed as "Late Availability" on the Overland model so perhaps because the Trailhawk requires this group, it also makes the Trailhawk "Late Availability." The Trailhawk is not currently orderable on the Stellantis company car website either. This is where you order company lease cars. The only models allowed to be ordered on company cars are Limited, Overland and Summit at this time.

After more looking I found that WLJR74 (Trailhawk) is indeed listed as Late Availability (Oh Well).

The worst thing is I don't even know if its gonna be 1 month, 3 months or 1 year like @jplace09 mentioned. I just borrowed car from my wife and that's the worst thing ever, and Im in need for a new one 😂

It just means “sometime after the introduction of the 2022 model but hopefully before the introduction of the 2023 model.”

There could be a multitude of reasons for something going to late availability. For example, I suspect the rear passenger entertainment screen is a late offering because of parts shortages, while the hands-free active driving assist is a late offering because design/testing is taking longer than anticipated. These things will each be solved independently, so these features will likely become available at different times.

By the way, my guess at the delay on the Trailhawk is that they’ve still got availability issues on some part of the Quadra-lift air suspension, and they’ve prioritized getting them into the Summit and Overland trims. That‘s just a guess, though—could be something to do with the new sway bar disconnect, or the off-road camera, or something else entirely.

Just asked my dealer and he said its still unavailable, what he said its gonna be available 1 month before 4xe. Its still just rumours, so.. that sucks

I’m suspicious of that. You can already order all 4xe trims, except of course for Trailhawk. Unless maybe he meant that gas Trailhawk will be available a month before 4xe Trailhawk? But I doubt even that, as whatever needs to be solved for Trailhawk availability probably is unrelated to engine selection, so when it opens up, I bet it’ll open for both.

Jeep is promoting the 4xe Trailhawk on Facebook today. Presumably this means they will open ordering for this trim very soon.

Although maybe it means nothing, since in December Jeep issued a press release touting the availability of rear entertainment even though it's not available and there is no timeline for it. Seems like there's a disconnect between marketing and production.

Ok so I got one, I couldnt do it on jeep website, but I could add passenger monitor for another 1k.

I couldnt add rear seat screens @RiseAgainst I had ordering system in front of me so, there was no such an option.

Soo.. I got it ordered, they said 4 months. Hopefully sooner

White, sadly jeep sucks with only 4 colors available. Ill do tinted headlights and it should be beautiful 😅

If you want to see red color, go and see L version of it with two-paint color group, looks very similiar. Im not a big fan of standard 8-bit colors but its just personal preference. Also in my opinion thats a big no for Jeep for 400 upcharge for simple colors as black/red/gray. If something would be special about it then yes.. but.. its just regular color lol.

So probably hes lying, I actually got with the passenger screen for additional 1k, but Im still waiting for VIN number so its kinda not confirmed 100% but I saw it in ordering system.
