I've had a number of instances where I put the vehicle in park, and then when I try to drive, the 'autobrake' is on and I can't move the car. Can't find a button to turn it off, either.
Seatbelt on, door closed, and the car won't move. It's usually a problem when parked somewhere, when I try to get in and go, but it happened the other day at a light when I got out quickly to clear some ice from the wipers (which are horrible in winter). I jumped back in and had people honking at me because I couldn't go when the light turned green (car absolutely would NOT move), and I had to cycle the ignition on and off to get it to go anywhere. I really hate the whole system, but I'm wondering if mine is defective, or if there's something I'm 'doing wrong' that is causing it to do this, or if there is a way to turn it all off???
Thanks in advance for any insight.
