Summit Reserve 2nd row Center Console Removal

Yea, the problem is the area i need to cover is pretty large (around 11" x 15") and most of the factory in-floor cup holder organizers are quite a bit smaller. I've got an amazon special coming this sunday so we'll see how that one works out.

I would fashion a custom hump... Get some 2x4's and make a little hump that would bolt to those brackets. Then get a floor mat, or otherwise match up the carpet material, and glue it the hump you just made. That would be strong enough so you could walk on it and look pretty decent. then, when you are done, I'll buy the center console from you :)
Thats not a bad idea. If this thing that comes sunday doesnt work out, i may fab up just that but add some cupholders via my 3-4” hole saw lol

Soo i've got what i think is going to be a viable solution for the foreseeable future via removable cargo organizer. I covered the gap in the floor with an OEM carpeted floormat that I cut to fit. That being said, I'm somewhat hesitant to sell the factory console simply because it will make selling the truck down the road more difficult + if/when i ever wana take people (other than my kids), they wont have an armrest for their interior arm (or a cupholder other than in the door). Notwithstanding, feel free to PM me reasonable offers as I continue to mull over the decision.

can you show picture of final result? How long did it take you to pull it out and get it to look "finished". If you put it back would it be the same as it was?

Here’s the old cargo organizer i had laying around. Underneath it is a factory carpeted floormat that conceals the metal brackets. Not perfect but it gets the job done so my kids can step on whatever they want without injury. It would take about 15-20 minutes to convert back to stock and vice versa.
