Everybody safe/healthy at time of accident? To total out on a rear impact sounds really bad.

The Jeep did its job and protected me and the kids from serious injury. It was around a 40 mph impact and the rear unibody rail was damaged. Everything from the rear quarter panels needed to be replaced.

Glad all are ok. Clearly a smaller/lower car and a hard hit at 40mph. Glad it was a higher trim with the tow package. Seems like the hitch did some good tying those rear rails together and also acting as an additional bumper. Sucks to see it being totaled, god speed.
