I have a 2021 Grand Cherokee L with 2500 miles on it. If you turn on the rear seat heater the console gets hot enough to fry an egg!!!! If you turn on the rear seat heater from the front panel, the console
stays calm. What is up with that?????

This seems weird. I didn't check the cup holder temperature when my wife turn on the back seat heater using the rear console. Will check it later.
How to turn on the back seat heater from the front panel?

Touch comfort. Touch rear. I syn to driver. Touch Auto. You also have the option to "lock" the rear control so your little button pushers in the back seat can't change your settings.
