Got an email titled "A MESSAGE ABOUT YOUR RECENT JEEP VEHICLE ORDER"

Looks like a welcome email, but what I found was a vehicle identification number which is 10 digits. What is this number cause it is most certainly not the VIN.

That’s weird because I got the same email but mine had a full 17 digit VIN. Maybe a mistake?

Same with full VIN. 12 weeks later. Maybe it will now leave D status and get built

My email had a full VIN and came 10/27/21. Vehicle arrived the dealer 1/10/22.

I contacted the dealer and he said no VIN has been assigned yet. That's just a generic number they used as a placeholder.

Mine had the VON (vehicle order number) on the email. Trailhawk 4xe

Contacted Jeep Cares on Friday, end of week 12, went from previous check of all parts staged and awaiting sequencing to once again gathering parts. Checked with dealer on Saturday and still no movement from D status. So looks like I went backwards after week 8 when I checked.
