Disable Seat Beat Alert?

You used to be able to disable the seat belt alert by following a procedure in the manual which involved buckling and unbuckling the seatbelt in sequence, but the '22 GCL manual says the dealer has to do it. Can anybody confirm this, or is there an updated procedure that I can do? I asked my dealer, waiting for a response...

I do always wear my seatbelt, but I frequently get in the car and hit the button and then put on my seatbelt, but that causes it to loudly chime 4 or 5 times which annoys the heck out of me.

Hmmm I don't think it complains until you put the car in drive.

I don't recall what I did, but I think it is foot off brake and seat belt buckled, push button to the run position, unlatch and latch the belt three times in 10 seconds ending with latched. Push start button to off.

On your GCL? Do you know where you learned of this? That sounds pretty similar to the GC procedure which I tried, but I may have screwed it up since I was doing it from memory.

Well, I was doing it from memory also. This or something similar is what I have used on four previous JGCs.
