@JeepCares has not been helpful. I Constantly get the "they are gathering parts", and there is a "global chip shortage". Last week I actually felt like I got somewhere with them. They tried telling me the Jefferson Assembly plant was down. When I challenged them that the WL was made at Mack Ave, they put me on the phone with a supervisor. They told me they had all my parts now and they were "waiting for scheduling". They told me to call back in at the end of the week to check the status and that they would have an update for me. I called in and after 90 minutes on the phone "trying to find my order", the assistant told me "they were gathering my parts, and typical orders take "7-9 weeks". I responded that its been 10 weeks and she told me she "escalated my order". This is the third time I have been told that. I was so frustrated I called back in and talked with someone different. He assured me a supervisor would be calling me the following day...NO Call. At this point I am not convinced they are going to build any V8s for 2021. I have the VIN but it seems strange to think they will be building a month of V8s? Order banks open up in September for 2022 models according to my dealer. I just want a solid answer of when we can expect the V8s!!!
