Climate Control startup on cold mornings

I was a member here when I bought my 2011 and 2016 Grand Cherokee Limiteds. Just took delivery of my special order 2021 Grand Cherokee Limited. I have a question concerning the automatic climate control. On my older GC's the climate fan didn't start up until the water was at the appropriate temp to throw warm air. My 2021 climate fan starts as soon as the engine/diagnostic check is complete after starting. Does anyone else have this same issue or is it just happening by design?

Hi, I’m not sure if this related or not but I noticed yesterday that when I started our GC-L it went to defrost and high despite trying to turn it down and switch it to blow out of the normal vent. I had to turn all of it off a few times to reset it. We have to go pick up the running boards we ordered next week so I plan to ask the dealer about it.
