I have to agree with you. I ordered a summit v6 March 8th, just got an email saying it shipped on Wednesday. No eta. My best advice is just don’t believe every date you are told…….

I’m having the same issues with my summit. Ordered 3/6, production completed may, has been “waiting on shipping “ since. My husband is my dealer and no updates. They had 5 (some limited and some overland) delivered but no word on mine (the only actual sold unit).

Ordered summit 3/6. Built 5/24, sent to ship yard on 5/28.

They sent mine up “the chain of command” because it had been in D status so long. So my suggestion would be to ask them to ask their supervisor(or production crew) for an update or something. Then that will require a follow up email

FCA is the best way. Ever since I first touched base with them, I have received emails every time there has been an update.

My understanding from my dealer when I ordered is that the black roof only comes on summit and summit reserve.

That’s awesome! I’ve had my 2015 grand Cherokee altitude since 2014 and have loved it so much. Been waiting over a year for this new one so hope mine is coming soon!
