I did not have any problem. Got the recall. Dealer checked it out. Pronounced it fine. Have had no problem, before recall or after. Sorry to hear of your situation.
I have a 2021 Grand Cherokee L Overland. Have 4k totally trouble free miles on it now. Absolutely LOVE it!!! I have done a lot of reading of my owners manual. Think the people that complain, perhaps, should read more.
OMG!!! Have always driven Chevy's. Until Nov 2021 when I bought the Overland. Maybe I'll go back to my 2005 Trailer Blazer...still have it. 237,000 carefree miles.
Of course if you have slop....snow, ice, mud on that sensor...just forget it. It is NOT going to work! When I took delivery of my 2021 GC Overload my Son & the sales guy were trying to make it work. The fob was laying in the console. No go.
Don't know why it happens. Just hit unlock on your fob. Works on other makes too. Rescued an older lady at the credit union last week. Can't remember what make of car she had.
I had that problem with my 2021 Grand Cherokee Overland. Have 3,000 miles on it now. I turned off the back heater. Made sure all 4 side vents were wide open. Then turned rear on from the front comfort control screen. Sync to driver. Auto. Locked the rear heater control. I have button pushing...
Touch comfort. Touch rear. I syn to driver. Touch Auto. You also have the option to "lock" the rear control so your little button pushers in the back seat can't change your settings.
I have a 2021 Grand Cherokee L with 2500 miles on it. If you turn on the rear seat heater the console gets hot enough to fry an egg!!!! If you turn on the rear seat heater from the front panel, the console
stays calm. What is up with that?????
