Just got off the phone with Jeep Connect technical support. He did confirm that another update that will fix this issue along with the “Assist” and “SOS” buttons not working.
He said the patch is in validation phase now and will be released “soon” to dealers.
I just noticed both the passenger side doors are not flush when closed. The driver side is fine but it’s like the passenger side doesn’t completely close. When closing the door it doesn’t give off the usual satisfying thud noise that the other side makes.
Anyone else have a similar issue?
Same here with the deep bass issue. I hope there’s a fix. I can’t reproduce the issue as it happens randomly on startup so not sure the dealer will be able to help.
I’m going in on Friday to have my front lower control arms replaced and just going to ask about a buyback. The list of issues with this thing is getting longer and longer and the dealers are basically useless.
That Land Rover defender is looking real good right about now…
Considering this car costed me 64k, I’m grossly disappointed. I’ve got a laundry list of issues and have only had the car for only a month. Ridiculous.
The update didn’t immediately bring back the off road pages for me. After getting the update at the dealer, I got home and did a factory reset and it came back.
Wireless Carplay seems to connect better than it did before but still pretty inconsistent.
in car Wi-Fi doesn’t work and the weather...
Anyone else having issues with the cars Wi-Fi just not working? I can’t get it to turn on. Already signed up for a free trial with AT&T but the Wi-Fi in car won’t turn on. Can’t use Alexa and the weather app doesn’t give any data.
Tried hitting the “Activate Services” icon in the app drawer but...
Have an issue with my driver side front lower control arm. Dealer thinks I might’ve hit a pit hole or something but that’s not possible as I’ve been babying the car since I got it. Makes no sense that the control arm went bad this soon after just 1k miles.
Not to mention, it’s a jeep! A pothole...
