Last couple of weeks, everytime I open the Jeep app, I get a message that the activation of service is in progress, etc. (See picture). Anyone else have this happen or know what this is about?
If they address it and find something causing it, please let me know. I've taken mine in a couple of times for this exact thing and the best they can tell me is that it's normal for these nine-speed transmissions to jerk like that. Doesn't seem right, and like you say, it is easy to replicate...
I had my first oil change at 5k at the Jeep dealer and they didn't question it. They did write ~10k on the reminder sticker, so I'm guessing it should be every 5k
Mine also doesn't connect. It recognizes the wifi signal but that's all. However, @JeepCares mentioned in another thread that the over the air updates do not require wifi. It is literally downloaded over the air. Maybe they can comment on this here.

There is actually a "restart radio" option in the menu that reboots the software. Same thing happened to me this past weekend during a road trip. Took about a minute to reboot and everything worked much smoother
Limited with about 2k on it. Transmission hiccuping when shifting down and carplay issues that were resolved with a software update at the dealership. They told me that some updates will eventually be done over wifi if connected properly. Otherwise, we love our GCL!
