ABsolutely email/call Jeep and reference your case. At least they will give you some money/car payments for the troubles. If its still a problem and has been in the dealer for 30 days, you can get a replacement or money back
Yea nothing is easy right now. I just took it to dealer I bought it too and politely held my ground until they took posession. As long as they have it it counts as time. If you have it it does not. Thats why they push it that way.
I had same issue and car would go beserk. Push them and you will get your money back. Let it go to the dealer 30 days or 4 times and pursue lemon law. Will take months, but will get resolved.
Park assist, sos unavailable, entire steering column power goes out, radio out, wipers go on full speed and cant be turned off, no turn signals. They replaced a bunch of modules and swore it was fixed after the 3rd visit, but it wasnt. Still dont have my money back from Jeep on the first one.
Your dealer gave you 100% back of what you paid for the vehicle? My dealer offered me 58k on my 71k priced car at 600 miles when my problems started. They then gave me the 800 number to jeep to fend for myself. Jeep has approved the buyback, but still yet to have a number or timeline to get...
Any one out there have a 22 MY JCL SR without issues? My 21 was a nightmare and they are buying back, 22 is schedule to arrive this week as the replacement. Really afraid to have to go thru this process all over again!
My 21 did this repeatedly among other electronic/tech/uconnect issues, they are buying it back as they never could fix it despite 4 long service vists (weeks at a time)
This is my fear! I too had to go thru arbitration on my 21 GCL SR. Same problems, SOS, park assist, cameras going out! Shorting out Uconnect and all lights go out and wipers come on.
Ordered a replacement 22 and its scheduled to deliver this week. So scared it gonna be another lemon...
Correct, its not really an improvement, just allows you take your hand off the wheel. With how light you have to touch it in a 2021 It may be better to not have to stare straight forward all the time like in the 2022
Know the lemon laws in your state, document everything, call the 877 number and open a case with Jeep. They will start by offering you a monthly payment or two, say no thanks and escalate to a buyback or replacement.
In the exact same boat, estimated date to get it back is December 22nd for part arrive then who knows for the repair. Will be 40 days at dealer of 60 I have owned it. Didnt think about the flood. I am pushing for a buyback or a 2022 replacement. This car has sucked despite wanting to love it.
