Summit reserve front Grill inserts on a Limited

I want to do this as well, but it requires complete removal of the front bumper and I'm too lazy for that.

    Forward Collision Warning

If an object is farther away the system has more time to calculate and respond, hence my question about it suddenly appearing. Safety braking systems also dont apply themselves when the user has already applied the brakes manually. It seems the sensors just didnt have enough time and input to...

    Forward Collision Warning

Depends. Was it stationary just standing there in the road 'in the headlights' or did it jump out from the median and suddenly become in front of you in a split second and within a very close distance to the front bumper? Those are two, and possibly three very different sensor scenarios.

    2022 GCL Purchase

Thousands of owners out there with no issues or only minor issues not related to the vehicle's build. You will always hear more about the bad then the good.

2021 GC L came to DEAD STOP

You're free to feel however you want, but the histrionics is tiresome. As I said before; the vehicle is not trying to kill you. And your example in the quoted sentence above is beyond stupid and makes zero sense. Your profile signature states you are dedicating all your free time to making...

Suspension, smooth ride, air/ride adjust systems/ give me your advice or remarks

I havent heard the harsh ride thing for a jeep in a decade. That was an old old thing from the 90's and probably newer sport model Wranglers. The new L model GC has been completely redesigned and suspension comfort was one of the major design and feel components they focused on. The L model has...

    Land assist warning light

Yes it's an issue many people are getting but it just goes away on its own and theres nothing any dealer or Jeep can do about it as its not a diagnosable error and doesnt leave any codes for them to find.

2021 GC L came to DEAD STOP

If you put a stroller behind your Overland and idle into it, It'll stop.

2021 GC L came to DEAD STOP

Your jeep tried to kill you? Comical. No, it didnt. A sensor malfunctioned or a set of inputs was calculated by your Jeeps computer which resulted in the action. Nothing more. It's definitely an issue and I hope you work it out, but there's thousands of other L models out there whom have not...

    Forward Collision Warning

Technically no one knows how or when its supposed to work. Only Stellantis engineers/software engineers know that. How do you know if it doesnt activate after driving X amount of feet from a stop? How do you know it only activates after X MPH? How do you know if it only activates when the...

    Forward Collision Warning

The FCW system is tied to the same sensor as the assisted cruise control. If that works, your FCW works. Now - if it doesnt work when you think it should work as in applying the brakes during a potential front-end collision then that is up for debate. But again, a set of conditions have to be...

    Not the OEM one, no.

    Forward Collision Warning

The sensors arent an end all and be all solution. A set of conditions still has to be met and calculated in time for an action to be taken. Input = output. I'm not saying that in a good or bad sense - thats just how these systems work from an engineering standpoint.

Piece of crap…I’m pissed and done with Jeep…

Thanks for letting us know, I guess? The new Tahoe is a piece of trash - as are many new vehicles being made in 2021+. Enjoy your new engine and transmission problems in the 2021+ Tahoe as well as reduced ground clearance and price markups.
