My system updated OTA on March 15. The new software version is: FCA-MY21.R17.99-PROD. I believe the original version ends in 98-PROD as indicated in the picture above by mmmauldin

I agree with Cvaquerano: it only works with Sirius and Bluetooth. I tried it just now and I get a radio image instead of the gray box in your picture above. I hadn't noticed that before because I only listen to satellite and bluetooth. I hope the update corrected your problem.
