Just placed an order for a 2022 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve (two-row) with the 5.7! I am super excited for it! My first car ever was a 2005 WK1 Limited with the 5.7 I received in 2012 from my grandfather. You give a 16 year old a license and a 5.7 and that's trouble just waiting to happen! I loved that car like you always love your first car and since then I've fallen in love with jeeps ever since! After my WK1 died on me I traded it in 2015 for a dealer demo 2014 GMC sierra that I got an amazing deal on. I drove that for 3 years but I missed my jeep and Mopar. So, I opted for a 2017 Dodge Charger Scatpack, it was a Mopar but definitely no jeep. I loved that car but it did not love the snowy winters of Pittsburgh. This is when I decided I should get back into a Jeep but my Scat left me with a taste for speed. This is then when I found a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT THAT WAS $10,000 BELOW MSRP 4 hours away in Virginia. So, on November 1st, 2019 I drove my Scat south and traded it in for the 2019 SRT and had gotten the deal of a lifetime and I was so happy to be back in a Jeep! I had dreamt of having an SRT Jeep ever since my 2005 WK1!! However, 6 months into owning my 2019 WK2 SRT I had it in for an oil change at my local dealer and their lift failed and with it they dropped my pride and joy from 10-15 feet in the air. I was heartbroken to say the least. The vehicle was not totaled but in bad shape, and I was afraid how its resale value would hold up. The dealership offered to fix my jeep for free, but I knew I wouldn't feel safe driving a high performance vehicle how it should be driven after the damage it took. But the dealer ship took full responsibility and with some relentless pressure they finally agreed to work with me on replacing my severely damaged SRT. They gave me an amazing deal on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk!! And that car was and still is super fun and I love everything about it except for the price tag lol. So, when Jeep released the new WL Grand Cherokee I fell in love and right away knew I wanted one. After 3 performance vehicles my taste for speed has dwindled immensely and I was tired of owing an immense amount of money to the bank for my car loan. And on top of that having to deal with the upkeep of brakes, tires, and fuel because I kept doing racecar activities. To be honest having to constantly worry about the finances of my driving took some of the joy away from being a Trackhawk owner. So, I ordered my WL to lessen my debt and expenses and to go back to what made me fall in love with the Jeep brand in the first place, a Grand Cherokee with a 5.7!
