Finally using my trailer next weekend so I had to figure this out. I had a few different ideas but settled on mounting it underneath the steering column so that it is out of the way of the airbag and won't be in a spot where I constantly kick it (which was a problem I had with my previous KL)...

Agreed.. I specifically wanted the Alpine setup because the McIntosh hardware looks AWFUL.

Really happy with my 2022 GC Summit, so far. I've found a few minor issues (mostly with the radio) but overall the car has been solid. Gotta remember that most people who are content with their cars aren't going to go out of their way to hang out on internet forums. :p

Bump. Any luck? I'm still trying to sort out how to feed a ham radio antenna wire into the cabin. There is a small grommet with a sealed 'nipple' that appears to be a provision for something my WL GC doesn't have under the driver's side cowling but I haven't been able to figure out if/where...

The orange switch is the manual park release. There is a little door on the kick panel you can open to access it (more information is in the Owner's Manual). I would recommend a small trim tool (like the orange one I have in the picture that came with my dash cam kit) or a small flathead...
