Cold air intake?

Has anyone found a cold air intake yet? I'm really interested more for the sound improvement than HP gains

I spoke with summit racing and they told me that volant makes one for my new 2021 grand Cherokee L with the 5.7. So I ordered earlier this week.

Part arrived today and there is no way this thing works for this model. Super annoying esp since I paid for expedited shipping.

Can't seem to find anything out there yet. Anyone have luck? Also, if there's enough interest maybe we get a group buy going?

I'm sure it is for the WK2 Grand Cherokee. This is a totally new model and it will take some time for aftermarket products to hit the market. If you went to the Volant site before ordering, you would have seen that there is no listing for the GCL...

Yep, totally. I should have checked with volant but summit is usually pretty good at this stuff. I only asked them at least 5 times.. "are you sure this is for the NEW grand Cherokee L, not the regular grand Cherokee"

I think my overland with the 3.6 is louder than my previous 2018 Durango with the same engine.
Also I had a dry air filter from my durango that was a square shape but it will not fit in the overland as the air filter housing has a different shape.

agree that the Durango and last model GC won’t work. Was hoping to use my K&N CAI that i had in my 2014 and 2019 Durango would easily work. I will just need to be patient.

So most likely the air filter housing for the 3.6 and the 5.7 will be the same as the Durango platoform which has the same filter and housing for 3.6, 5.7 and the 6.4.

I am hoping banks power will make one. Banks has always made quality upgrades. Maybe I can call and see if they need a car!

Group buy!
Totally agree.

I spoke to an engineer at volant yesterday. They are gonna call me back in the next few days about a group rate and when we could get an intake.

I had no idea that the volant facility is in Berea, Ohio about 30 minutes from my house. I offered to drop my car off if it would help expedite the process.

The same company owns Corsa exhaust!

I'll keep everyone in the loop.

Do the sell dry air filters too?
