I was thinking of doing this to my Suburban a few years ago, but as a guy who also lives in a snowy clime, I, unlike most car guys have a love of brushy car washes. The installer advised me against it... Can you tell me more about how the edges are treated and how you expect it to hold up? (Funny, I also looked a a GC "L" on the weekend, the reason for being on here, you know what they say about great minds).

I did initially have issues with some peeling after they first did it but they went back and added a trim tape on all the edges and that seems to be holding
