WL Wheel Spec Discussion

Does anyone know the wheel offset on the new WL Summit 4x4’s?

I’m buying a Summit Reserve. Comes stock with 275/45R21x9’s and Continental CrossContact XL. I’d like to go with 22’s, most likely 22x9.5 wheels and 285/45R22 tires.

To get this combo to fit as close to stock as possible, I’m getting custom wheels so I can be precise with the offset. Like most things with new models…I’ve been hard pressed to find those specs. I’m assuming the default +56, but recall seeing a +40-something on previous WK’s.

Anyone know this stat yet?

Not sure but I might be interested in buying your wheels. I'm likely going with summit but not really that into the wheels.

I have a Summit (not Summit Reserve) and my wheels are 20" with 265/50/20 tires. I just talked to America's tires because I ordered Fuel off road wheels with All terrain tires and they told me the stock offset is +50.

Hi any recommendations about putting bigger tires on stock wheels (20”) i have 2021 limited but have an issue with the front spindle its on the way literally above the tire tread 😒

I'm like 99% sure the summit reserve has 21x9" wide wheels with a +50 offset. Everything else has 20x8.5" wide wheel and +56 offset. If you get a 18x8" wheel it will be +56 offset.

So if you go with a 9.5" wide wheel your offset would need to be +44 to be close to stock. If buying custom wheels it might look better to go with a little lower offset like +38. There are people who have done this already and posted photos.

Do you mind sharing a link to one of those post? I just searched for “wheels” but couldn’t find the threads. I have 20” wheels and I would love to get 18” wheels with some all terrains. But right now I am worried whether the 18” wheels will create a problem for the brake clearance or not.

The stock OEM wheel is an 18 and the spare tire is on a 18". You will have no problems with clearance with most aftermarket 18's. I'm sure you could find one what hits the face of the caliper but that would be strange and probably not a wheel you want.

After looking at the brake caliper clearance with my 20” wheels I was really worried. But you are right, I just checked my spare wheel size and that’s 18” so now I have confidence 😂. Thanks a lot!

Varro makes a nice wheel that looks similar to the Summit Reserve 21" wheels in 20x9 ET35 that would allow the Yokohama Geolander AT GA015 in 285/50/20 to fit without UCA knuckle issues (not sure about fender rubbing, might be OK though).

Below is a photoshopped image of those wheels to simulate roughly 285 tires in 20" in black (they only show available in gray)
