When Trail Hawk?

Build a new house
Just a joke or are you just being a jerk? Some people can't afford several thouand to just put in a charger. Perhaps you have lots of money and if so, cool, not all do. I will assume it was a joke. BTW, it does not appear that pricing for the 2023 4xe is out yet as there are no code guides. If there were, I would post a MSRP for the 2023 4xe Trailhawk. I expect it will cost a lot.

What's up guys?

What kind of MPG are you guys seeing? Perhaps it's just the way that I'm driving it, but I'm only averaging 16 miles per gallon 🤔

Engine does need a little time/use to break in. 16 to 17ish is what I've been getting with mostly city driving. But with highway I see low 20s. Similar to my V6 wk2. I also have a pretty heavy foot

Jeep Chat updated my ETA for Delivery to 6/20 - 6/29! They probably have some 'leaderboard' tracking how many times they get asked build status updates from new owners, and make over/under bets on it.

If any of you guys have states that require a front license plate, check out www.slybrackets.com, hardware to mount plate directly to grill so you don't need to drill holes in the bumper for the OEM mount. I use them on all my vehicles, works very well.

Congrats @Jake22 ! i'm assuming that's yours? You don't hear any rattles, right 😅?!
Hey buddy. Did you end up installing this slide bracket on your gc? I'm deciding if I should buy it.

Yep, just reinstalled the one from my WK 2, works great. Still waiting on plates

There are still no code guides for the 4xe so no 2023 price for the Trailhawk yet. Should we take bets? $65K? $70K? I ordered a 2022 Cherokee Trailhawk 6 weeks ago as it was all I could order to replace my 2021. No delivery date yet. This is extremely late to be waiting for a 2021 replacement. This inability to get any product is the worse I have ever seen.

Really, you are upset about that? I get it. I was only mentioning that I can't order much from Stelantis these days. When I get a code guide for the 2023 4x4, I will post MSRP prices here. What will you post here? Apparently not much useful. Perhaps I will forget it and you people can find your own prices, just trying to help.

I ended up going to Kemah (Ultimate Ceramic Coatings and PPF). Long drive, but they did a decent job. The biggest problem that I've seen is that there is no expel cutout directly that matches the trailhawk, Summit or Overland. We went through dozens of options on the Xpel website. The pieces that were a problem were the PPF around the drive dial/select terrain/Quadralift and the lack of a circular piece for the top of the dial. The owner, Steve, printed out a circle used for a Ford dual that was almost perfect. Also got it tinted at Executive Motorsports. Final project w blacked-out reflectors attached. View attachment 3397
Hey @abarreto, did Ultimate Ceramics in Kemah end up hand cutting the PPF to fit the console area? I'm assuming they did the screen plus area around dial and cupholders? How long did it take them and how much did they charge you? I may have to go to them, as i can't fine anyone else more local so far. American Detail ended up not being able to do the console PPF, as they couldn't find a template and didn't want to hand cut it. They still did a great job with the ceramic tint, ended up with using the 98% heat rejection all the way around, plus windshield and sunroof...this stuff works, can definitely feel the difference with the sunroof shade open with the Houston sun. Here's a photo for good measure in Sam Houston National Forest, doing some light offroading on their service roads and two-tracks near Lake Conroe.

Your TH looks great. What cross rails are those?

The console job took about 3-4 hrs (I don't think it really required all that time, but just be prepared). I took an Uber to the NASA museum to kill the time. They charged me $350. Note, I did NOT have them install the other pieces in the kit that cover parts of the dash and doors.

They used the GC L template in XPEL. Remind them to use a circle from another kit (Ford) for the top of the gear selector.676908537.jpg

Great info thanks! To confirm, did they only wrap everything in blue, and not the radio/AC controls in red?

Link to the roof racks is below. I had the Brightlines for my wk2 and they worked well.
