What to buy - so confused!

I need your advice. I am seeking an “L” version and have been looking at the Overland. Today I learned that the air suspension is no longer available. It is only on the Summit Reserve. like the ability to change clearance as we do a lot of backcountry MT roads. Not having it is a disappointment. I am also debating about the Off Road option.. like the skid plates but not sure about the smaller tires.

I am not a fan of the Reserve’s leather stitching and limited color choice so really am disappointed about the air suspension change.

What is the leveling system on the Grand Cherokee? We have a Kia Telluride as well.. that has a “ratchet system” that I don’t like. You have to drive a block or two for it to level out with the trailer attached. My old Highlander had an auto level system which I loved.

My use: towing a 3000 lb trailer across multiple states on the interstate as well as driving (without trailer) in the mountains and on two track backcountry roads. We have many occasions of driving on snow covered, very muddy or ice covered dirt backroads. I need to be able to engage 4 wheel drive on my own. I am trying to understand the tire size vis a vie traction vs gas mileage.

Thanks for your help!

You actually need to look on the right column of window sticker. They will have a air suspension delete $-750 credit if it's missing. It will still show it in the base on the left column.

Yup… that is how I discovered the issue. Perhaps I am not understanding… But this makes me nervous as it relates to the leveling of the vehicle when towing. Is that not correct?

This was one of the reason i settled for limited as well. Pay close to 8K premium over and not getting adjustable suspension was a deal breaker from my perspective.

Need to find an overland with a sticker price of 62,820 or a base price of $54,995. They increased the base price and deleted Airs suspension and hitch as well. Some are removing the glass sun roof. I found several in Red with Grey interior (which we bought) and several black and silver ones. They are slim pickins and most are demo's.
